Changing places, Changing faces.
Leaving a lot behind,
Just to find a lot more,
A competition, one of a kind.
Just when beginning to like it,
It’s taken away again.
That area well known.
With friends made,
And old one’s thrown.
Kind of ironic, isn’t it?
Always wanted to be older,
Now that your older you want to be younger.
Felt like I stepped into a time machine.
Skipped some years, wishing they lasted longer.
Eventually we will find our place,
A place where you don’t need to change.
Always a familiar face.
The memories, falling out of range.
